May, 2025 Update
Scottish Society of Nebraska
Greetings,
It’s been a while since I’ve sent out any info. The last few weeks have been a whirlwind. I’m
finally coming up for air.
Kelen
Many activities happening in the next few weeks.
Not sure how many tickets are still available to this show. Cassie and Maggie are a Celtic duo
from Nova Scotia.
Friday, May 9. 6-8 pm Blame Not the Bard at the Dubliner Pub
1205 Harney, in the basement
Potluck
Our next Potluck and game night will be Saturday, May 17 at 6:00 pm at St
Andrew’s Episcopal Church. Several of the attendees have asked for a rough idea
of who is coming so they don’t make too much food, (or too little), so if you plan to
attend, please send me a quick note at: kelen@thescottishsocietyofnebraska.org . And what you might be bringing. All paper supplies are provided. Bring your own drinks!!
I’m hoping to see a few new faces this month. There will be a couple of corn hole
boards, indoor games and a chance to watch a European talent show and of
course good food.
Scottish Cookery
Join us in welcoming summer at our next Scottish Cookery class which will
be held Wed, June 11th, at 6:30 pm. We will be preparing Irn Bru Glazed
Chicken and traditional Cranachan for dessert.
Class limited to 15 so sign up early!
Email kathyrobbinswise@gmail.com to register.
We look forward to having you join us.”
